Are these formatted in HTML/Plain/RTF...?
Are the messages from/to certain people?
>From certain dates?

The closest I have seen to this was a user who was having 'no transport'
errors. When she would forward me a message that gave this erorr. I could
read it (HTML) but if I converted from HTML > plain text it would lose the
text and have a few random characters... Reinstall of Outlook didn't fix. We
either replaced her PC, deleted/recreated her mailbox or both...

Try changing the format of a message and see what happens.

LOL. No, he hasn't. Some messages are fine. Some of the messages he
received
this morning were okay as well, some were not.
