Thanks, problem is there are thousands of items that would require manually moving back. Thanks for the idea though

I don't know beans about E2K, but why not restore the public store to a recovery server not connected to the rest of your network, and then you won't have to worry about it replicating anywhere. Then you will at least have the attachments, and you can find a way to get them back "home" at your liesure. Again, this might mnot work because of something about E2k the I am ignorant about. Please? -----Original Message----- From: Mike Putley Sent: Tuesday, November 20, 2001 11:52 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Will restored folders be destroyed by replication Hi, please could someone help with this I have a E2000 server that replicates to a number of E5.5 servers in various sites. The E2000 server had issues with it's public store and an ill advised eseutil /p was performed, this stripped all attachments to postings :-( The stripped version of the postings has replicated to other sites. If I restore the public information store from tape (which is what should have been done in the first place) will my restored copy be immediately destroyed by replication since the striped folders at other sites are more recent that the copy on tape? Is there a strategy to avoid this? Thanks for you help Mike _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
