What does your Microsoft Representative or Reseller say? They're the only
ones authorized to quote licensing terms to you. Nobody on this list is
allowed to. Microsoft's web site does a pretty good job of explaining
licensing as well.

If I have bought say 25 copies of Outlook for other reasons, will those work
for CALs on Exchange?

Outlook is essentially free. You get it when you buy Exchange. You need
CALs for Exchange, though.

How exactly does the Exchange 2000 CALs work? If all my clients will be
using Outlook, will I need to buy CALs for them also or does Outlook
give me the CAL for the user?

Thanks,
