David, I have installed the ESM on XP. You must first install the Win2K administration tools. Just ignore the error that states they can't be installed. Once they are installed, you can then install ESM.

If you can't add the ESM to an XP machine and you can't utilize Exchange tasks unless you install the ESM, you basically cannot use an XP workstation to administer Exchange? Lastly, I'm assuming that the Active Directory Connector MMC also falls under this same thought process? Any input would be appreciated. David S.
