Ok, what I have now done is to just set up IIS and exchange with defaults and some test users with mailboxes. I fought with it then got more frustrated and walked away and came back an hour later and voila, it works. Now I just need to figure out how to get it to let me bring up the webpage and just log in via the web page instead of the login box.
