Does it happen with other workstations' Outlook installations, or is it
isloated to this lone Outlook instance?

1)Remove all services but MS Exchange server service? I think I am
misunderstanding you. Did you mean to say that?

This is only happening with this one mailbox whether he is logged in or
out.

One thing I would check is this:

1) Remove all services but the MS Exchange server service.
2) Have the customer exit and log off from Outlook
3) Resend your test message.
4) See what kind of performance you have then.

Hi all,
I have one client that is lagging big time when he tries to open or
close any emails. Just moving the highlight bar lags...Other systems can
open/close emails with no lag. I've noticed that when I send the user an
email it sits in my Outbox for about five seconds instead of just going
immediately like when I send to anyone else. I've tried sending when his
Outlook client is closed and it doesn't make a difference.

This is a pretty vanilla client except I have two shared resources
added. DHCP is running fine. All updates are in.

Anyone have any ideas why the mailbox would lag like this? It doesn't
seem to be the workstation that is the problem. He has 85MB out of 450MB
allowed. No filters setup...his mailbox is generic too. Thanks for any
help!

Johnny
