Will win2k vpn allow me to set up so only internet traffic destined to the exchange server is routed correctly and I do not carry customers internet destined load to internet on my backbone? -----Original Message----- From: Martin Blackstone [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 4:03 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Cannot login You are absolutely right Andy. Since W2K server can act as a VPN, you have everything you need. -----Original Message----- From: Webb, Andy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 1:04 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: Cannot login There's really just the investment in time to enable PPTP connections via RRAS. The remote users can then set up a VPN using PPTP on their client and connect up to the server. -----Original Message----- From: Martin Blackstone [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Posted At: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 3:00 PM Posted To: Microsoft Exchange Conversation: Cannot login Subject: RE: Cannot login As of yesterday MANY ISP's started blocking RCP traffic on their networks. You may want to call your ISP and find out if this is the case. If it is, you will need to invest in a VPN. -----Original Message----- From: Matt [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 1:00 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Cannot login I have to support a temp server for 2 more weeks running win2k sp4 and exchange 2k sp3. No firewall ( I know) All users are remote. OWA does work. Outlook worked yesterday not today. All of the sudden no one remotely can login. I can login the server is my network. This server has been running fine for 3 weeks. I checked the RPC service it is running. All remote users have lmhosts files. Do I need to check for permissions for remote users?
