I don't think I was clear in my question. I already have the trial
certificate installed and functional. What I'm asking is if there are any
specific documents or setting changes that you would recommend for lockdown
using SSL? I will be using Verisign's certificate and have perused their
site already. Unfortunately, I don't see anything specific regarding
lockingdown Exchange/ OWA - do you have a specific URL within Verisign?
Thanks.

Subject: RE: SSL & OWA
Is it possible to generate it yourself from your own server?
In other words, will the higher-ups allow this instead of a 3rd party key.
In my experience, we only use 3rd party SSL if a site is being accessed by
the
public. If it is accessed by employees or clients, 3rd party is usually not
necessary.
The encryption level is still the same.
Otherwise,
www.verisign.com has step-throughs for this.

Does anyone know of a good reference to install/ configure SSL for the OWA
on an IIS 4 NT 4 server? I've looked at the MS site and Technet but there
are hundreds of articles and I'd like to find something recommended and step
by step.
Would you recommend 40 or 128 bit key? Difference is price is more than
double!
Thanks.
