I just carried out this procedure yesterday since I am now managing an Exchange server 5.5 that did not have any file extensions being blocked. I used the articles below to block all .scr 's and it is working great. The user gets a message that the attachment was quarantined because the file type is not allowed. I need to finish blocking all the other nasty types that have been suggested by the group.
