I have seen this before where the count is off. What SP are you on?

Subject: HELP : Spookie or gostlike email in outlook

Hello,

We have a weird problem.
We have a Exchange server 5.5 and Outlook 97 and outlook 2000 for our users.

Suddenly in some generaly used inboxes such as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> . It is mentionned that there are n e-mails unread
and when you have a look in the inbox you only can see n-1 e-mails in non
read mode. So it looks if there is a "gost" e-mail or a hidden e-mail
somewhere. From where can this problem come?
Is there somewhere a countersetting corrupt ? or is het possible that some
e-mails aren't visible ? And why ? If you select all e-mails and you put
them all in non read the difference is gone, but then you aren't sure if you
have seen all the incomming e-mails.

Freya
