I'd have to say the DNS error is rather telling.  I used ME and OWA for 2
years with out a hitch.  Make sure their DNS servers can find your .com (?).
Have them try with an IP address.  Reinstall the stack.  I've had corruption
problems with ME networking before.  No need to reinstall the OS just the
networking.  Just a couple things to try.
