Recently, the Internet Mail Connector (SMTP service) on our Exchange server has been failing. There are no nasty messages in the logs, it just stops. When we try to restart it, it displays error 2140. However, there are no additional error messages in the Event Logs (e.g., 41xx). We're using Exchange 5.54...
