You are right. Outlook install on an Exchange server = BAD
Mailbox backup = not really worth it

I recall this being discussed a little while ago but cannot pull it out of
the archives.
I have Exch 5.5 and am backing it up with Backup Exec 8.5. I cannot connect
to backup individual mailboxes because there is no MAPI client on the
server. Any information I can find on it says to install Outlook.
Somewhere on this list I saw that this is not a good idea, if so, what is
the alternative.
