Sounds like a classic name resolution problem. Check your DNS,WINS etc..
settings and make sure the clients can correctly resolve the mail server.

Subject: Outlook slow down after upgrade

Hi All,

Recently in our office with abt 30 clients, we upgrade all of our clients
from Office 97 to 2k (and so do the Outlook). After the upgrade, we face
the problem that all the clients logon to our Exchange 5.5 server slower
than before. The difference was about 5 second in which is noticable.

Other change to our LAN was, before we use domain and workgroup in out
LAN, now we move all the clients to the same domain and no more workgroup
exist.

Clients in out LAN are 95, 98, 2k pro, and 2k svr. Servers are NT 4

Does anyone have any solutions?

Many thanks.
