I find that if I wait 10 to 15 minutes, I go back in and try to open a
message and get the expired window and a prompt to log back in.

I'm running Ex 5.5 on NT 4 - is that what you're running?

I wasn't aware that it logged you out if the browser remains open. I've
kept the browser open on my test network and been able to go back days
later and move around the mailbox.

It already logs you off after an extended period. Are you looking to
modify that timeout period or asking what is the period?

Hi All,

Is there a way to force users to have to log back on to the owa server
after a certain time period expires? The only thing I can seem to find
info on is session time-outs which doesn't have an effect if the browser
remains open since the credentials seemed to remain cached in the
browser. Novell's myrealbox works flawlessly. That's the functionality I
am looking for without migrating to novell...:) Thanks for any input.
