The problem with the pst's is they are getting up to 1 gig in size. When they have a 
problem with their mail opening slow or not at all I end up having to fix it. I'll 
look into the disappearing email and VPN solution. Thanks all for the advice.

We have a lot of laptop users so yes they do use pst's unfortunately.

You know of course that only one message is sent - no matter how many
people it is sent to? (i.e. single instance storage) Of course if our
users use PST's all bets are off.

Currently our CVS server sends mail to each engineer using a
distribution group list every time something is update on our CVS
server. The mail from CVS is huge. Each engineer keeps the email
forever.
