Hello All, I am currently running a Win2k server with Exchange2k. All the latest service packs have been downloaded and installed, for both the os and mail server. I have Backup Exec 8.6 revision 3878 on the system with the exchange agent.
There are no problems backing up the entire mail store, because I have done that successfully. The problem lies with backing up individual mailboxes. I called veritas and they stated that a mapi32 client has to be installed on the server to backup individual mailboxes. What are the exact security issues with installing Outlook2k on the server. Are there any other mapi32 clients out there that would be bettter suited for this backup job? If you have a similar configuration, how do you backup individual mailboxes?
