I please one more time for help on the below.
Yes, we are seeing the warning in the event logs and no it is not a mixed e2k/5.5 environment, but we also did not yet flip the switch to native mode either. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] at INTERNET Sent: Thursday, June 20, 2002 6:53 PM To: Balen, Steve B - Raleigh, NC; [EMAIL PROTECTED] at INTERNET Subject: RE: Exchange 2000 SMTP Issue Mixed-mode Exchange environment? So these servers were upgraded to E2K? Or you migrated to E2K? Are you seeing the Event from the KB article in the event log? William -----Original Message----- From: Balen, Steve B - Raleigh, NC [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, June 20, 2002 6:21 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Exchange 2000 SMTP Issue Here is a challenge to all of the E2k experts out there. The symptoms we are having here is in Q288175 - basically e2k servers in the same admin/routing group are having troubles sending mail to one another. Mail refuses to go through SMTP and eventually sits in the MTA queues to the other servers. It also appears in a mixed mode environment. We have followed the Q article workaround but with no luck. If we restart the IMC, it works for bit but then stops again. Some theories are a kerberos problem but nobody is quite sure. Has anyone on this mailing list experienced this and if you have, what did you do to fix it? HELP!!!!
