Are you going to use Exmerge or the move mailbox wizard?

Thanks Don.  This Saturday is regular network maintenance, so I have a minimum of a 12 hour downtime window and can get more.  I'm glad to hear from someone that has "been there done that" before attempting something so major.  I don't want to screw up something so important.....:-)

Sherry,

I followed this Q article to move to a new box, having and planning some downtime. Worked like a charm.

I used Ed Crowley, and it worked well. The only thing I don't agree with in his explanation is, "You can do most of this during business hours, without interuption". I didn't find that to be true

I will be installing a new Exchange server box this weekend.  (Yeah)  My question is:  Is the method described in Q155216 the best way to move an Exchange server?

I will be upgrading to Exchange 5.5 Enterprise in this move, however, I want to have the same computer, organization, site name etc. to keep the impact on users to the minimum.  Neither the old, nor the new server is a PDC or BDC.  After reading this article through several times I believe that this is the way I want to do this, but would like to have that confirmed for you guys and gals on the list.

TIA
