recommends not.

I think it's mostly a performance issue.  I've got it running both ways at
different sites; some clients have limited resources and no choice.  I
haven't done any hard performance comparisons, but the ones that aren't
DC's definitely seem to perform better.

I got in a jam during my upgrade process and had to call Uncle Bill's
Boys-they recommended that I not have the Exchange server be a DC.
