I've got a couple boxes doing this well. The only thing I've noticed is
that Win2K sometimes gets impatient waiting for the Information Store to
shutdown. If it doesn't shutdown pretty quickly, it will complain that it
didn't respond in a timely manner. When that happens, the service shows a
status of "stopping" instead of started or stopped. If the store was
stopping because I had told the SA to stop, I need to wait for the store to
die and then start the shutdown of the SA again. It's a minor
inconvenience, especially when compared to the Restart service function.

Subject: Exchange 5.5 on W2K

I'm wanting to get input from anyone that is currently running Exchange 5.5
Enterprise SP4 on a Windows 2000 SP2 server.
Is it a happy combination? Any issues that anyone has come across?
Looking to be setting up a new Exchange server on a W2K box in a little over
a week & just want input before jumping headlong into it.
TIA
