Tony, without the ADC you do not have synch between the 5.5 database and the AD database. You have to manually go in and add mailboxes to users, and users to mailboxes. Then if you make a change on the AD you have to go into 5.5 and reassign the owner. Stuff like that. Also making new users without the AD wont populate the 55 db, so again you create 50 users in AD, then you create 50 mailboxes, then associate those 50 mailboxes to each user one at a time.
