Ya, that's what I was afraid of, I was pretty sure that I can't route a single address out. (sigh) - well, unless you have an SMTP relay that can route to hosts based on the mailhost attribute, it seems to require subdomain or host.domain.com. _____ From: Barsodi.John [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 27, 2007 1:20 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Routing certain email addresses to third party mail system. The CRM system doesn't do POP, just listens for inbound SMTP connections. Have the crm system POP the mail? _____ From: Barsodi.John [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 27, 2007 11:08 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Routing certain email addresses to third party mail system. I have a small challenge, we are implementing a new CRM system that accepts and sends email. They would like to receive mail from external and internal recipients to these addresses which belong in the same domain that Exchange receives for, domain.com. I've done this in the past with Exchange and sub domains; sub.domain.com and configured a SMTP connector to deliver to the CRM mail system. However, in this case, the implementation team would prefer to receive email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and have it delivered to the CRM system. Anyone have any suggestions or could point my towards some documentation this type of scenario?
