No.
You need to propagate the settings down. Easily done with ESM - right click on
the top level folder and choose Manage Settings. Then choose overwrite settings
and select Replicas.

Another option would be to use the pfmigrate script (download from Microsoft)
which does the same thing, but by selecting the group of folders to replicate
you can ensure that the process doesn't use all the bandwidth available.

Take a look at my migration guide: http://www.amset.info/exchange/migration.asp

Need cheap certificates for Exchange, compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0?
Go to http://www.certificatesforexchange.com/ for certificates for just $20 a
year.
Now includes SAN certificates for Exchange 2007 for just $59 a year.

Subject: public folder replication question

(E2K3 SP2 +all patches)

Starting a swing migration to new Exchange server and I'm setting up my public
folder to replicate and my question is that if I tell a top level folder to
start replicating, will it automagically grab all sub folders?

TIA,

Shook
