I used to have a washing machine like that.

Every once in a while it would get stuck on agitate.

Simon,

Your guide rocks and that is what I'm using, I just wanted to fire off
the question to see what smart a$$ response I could get from MBS.

No.

You need to propagate the settings down. Easily done with ESM - right
click on the top level folder and choose Manage Settings. Then choose
overwrite settings and select Replicas.

Another option would be to use the pfmigrate script (download from
Microsoft) which does the same thing, but by selecting the group of
folders to replicate you can ensure that the process doesn't use all the
bandwidth available.

Take a look at my migration guide:

(E2K3 SP2 +all patches)

Starting a swing migration to new Exchange server and I'm setting up my
public folder to replicate and my question is that if I tell a top level
folder to start replicating, will it automagically grab all sub folders?

TIA,
