MAPI presents the largest address book out of all the address books that a user has access to (so that's how it works with Outlook).
OWA has no idea how large an address book is. Out of the address books that a user has access to, I'm pretty sure it just presents the first one that isn't one of the filtered groups. If you remove Authenticated Users and Everyone from the permissions of those address books, they will quit showing (unless that user has access through another group, of course). Regards, Michael B. We have three global address lists (let's call them Global Address List, E-List, and L-List) each with the same security settings, when I go into OWA 2007 and select the address book the default is not "Global Address List", rather "E-List1" followed by "All Rooms". I have to scroll down to find the GAL which is where I want to search. A couple of things I did find; when trying to reproduce in test I found that the displayname of my test GAL was "Default Global Address List", where in production it's "Global Address List". I seem to remember alphabetical placement being a factor. Also when I did get a different list to appear as default and then deleted the list it continued to appear in OWA... Any thoughts?
