Hi David,

I am incorrect, that script is an alteris job, not a simple GP login script
(hence I cant see it to send you).

But, depending on your Outlook version, its trivial (assuming default
locations).

For 2007 a batch file with this would work (not tested, get what you pay for)

Cd %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\temporary internet
files\content.outlook
Del *.* /s /f /q

For 2003

Cd %userprofile%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK*
Del *.* /s /f /q

Try it out, it should fix your user's issue

Don't suppose you want to share the script?

Google OLK folder and try cleaning that. We wipe ours via GP login
script.

Subject: Weird Word? Issue

Have one users that receives hundreds of emails with attachments per
week Eventually the machine starts flaking and won't open the files -
cleaning up temp files, internet folders straightens it all out except
for .RTF files which they cannot open (error indicates a problem
creating the temp file) Oddly if instead of opening you right click and
say print it works even though the next question is Open or Save and
they select Open.

Clues?

Previous tries include blowing away profiles, OST, etc.
End result has always been to date Wipe the box and good to go for
another 4-6 months

David
