Outlook 2003 SP3 or 2007 SP1 set in cached mode work just fine over dialup after the initial sync. It's certainly fine over DSL/Cable and VPN. Be aware of large file attachments...do your users use email instead of shared folders to send files to each other? Address this non-optimal behavior beforehand as the large file will be traversing the WAN connection twice in addition to the inefficiencies of MIME encoding binary files. ~JasonG -- ~ Ninja Email Security with Cloudmark Spam Engine Gets Image Spam ~ ~ http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Ninja ~
