If you REALLY want to clean up the old “ghost” mailboxes that were left after the move, you can attempt to move them back to the old database. When you attempt the move you will receive an error stating that the mailbox already exists in that location but it has now been deleted so you can try the move again (obviously I am paraphrasing quite liberally with the message). Just don’t move them a second time and you will have removed the old remnants that were still hanging around. TVK

If they are in that list, they are certainly disconnected (which simply means that their GUIDs are not associated with any AD account), as long as mailbox management is running every night. Also be aware that you should manage Exchange 2003 objects from ESM and Exchange 2007 objects from EMC. Ne’er the twain should meet. Regards, Michael B.
