Not really. Not the one I have anyways. Yea, I would rather just swap a battery, but what can you do. At least there are solutions for dealing with a dead phone and a lack of AC connectivity.
You can get attachable rechargable batteries in a variety of forms, including external shells that the phone can slide into (nothing hanging, or attached). I have to say, the iPhone 3G is one of the sweetest devices I have ever used. Sure, the lack of some standard smart-phone features is kind of a let down, but over all the phone and its cabailities have stunned me, and I have been just fine living without so far. I was very much against having to adopt to it in order to support my exec users, but I have been extremely pleased with the device. Seeing just how well it works, I can understand why Apple has a QA strangle-hold on the device. -- ME2 On Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 7:07 PM, Ben Scott <mailvor...@gmail.com> wrote: > On Thu, Mar 5, 2009 at 6:31 PM, Micheal Espinola Jr > <michealespin...@gmail.com> wrote: >>> When your battery craps you're SOL! >> >> Unless you have an attachable external battery. > > Isn't that kind of cumbersome? > > I mean, technically speaking, a worn-out iPhone battery also won't > be a problem if you just never unplug the AC charger.... ;-) > > -- Ben > > ~ Ninja Email Security with Cloudmark Spam Engine Gets Image Spam ~ > ~ http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Ninja ~ > ~ Ninja Email Security with Cloudmark Spam Engine Gets Image Spam ~ ~ http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Ninja ~
