You are attempting to apply a policy to a set of mailusers to whom a policy has
already been applied. Have I got that right?

Subject: Update-emailaddresspolicy warnings...

Created a new email address policy with a custom filter for recipienttype -eq
mailuser -and externalemailaddress -like
*...@blah.domain.com<mailto:*...@blah.domain.com>. When I check the preview
through the EMC I see the intended mail users to update, however when I run the
update I get the following errors...

WARNING: Failed to update recipient
"domain.com/users/recipient1<http://domain.com/users/recipient1>". The
following exception occurred: Exchange Server
2007 exmbx01.domain.com<http://exmbx01.domain.com> returned an error
-2147023286 from the Address List Service..
WARNING: Failed to update recipient
"domain.com/users/recipient2<http://domain.com/users/recipient2>". The
following exception occurred: Exchange Server
 2007 exmbx01.domain.com<http://exmbx01.domain.com> returned an error
-2147023653 from the Address List Service..

Not really sure what is going on here, even though its just a warning the
policy does not get applied. These are the only two recipients this policy
applies to at the moment and there's nothing really odd about them. Eitherway,
finding out wtf those error numbers mean would be great... Any ideas?

Thanks,
alex.
