Good news is now you can do all of this during regular hours. Bring up the new mailbox server..then set the mailbox moves for 3 AM it can all be automatic..nice and smooth.after all the mailboxes are moved wait a couple of days. Outlook will find the new server for your users if the old server is there. When they have all done that you can uninstall it then DCPROMO Enjoy the weekend! But then all hell is going to break loose in your Exchange system. CAS is going to be broken along with OWA authentication. Sorry man, but you really need to migrate the exchange off that box first. I think you may have to migrate Exchange off of it first.
