PS v2 is supported for exchange 2007 sp2.
you need sp2 first for ex2k7 and then install psv2.

The main reason for installing psv2 on exchange 2k7sp2 is to be able to run
the 2k10 EMC/EMS with the 2k7 EMC/EMS on the same box.

I have not heard of any issues.
