Unfortunately the bizarre politics of this place preclude that. If the users here thought they weren't allowed to send email to everyone, they'd erupt into bloody revolution. I've worked at lots of places over the last twenty years, with varying degrees of idiocy amongst the user base, yet my current assignment is with the most mollycoddled, whingeing lot I have ever had the misfortune to be lumbered with. If it comes to the attention of management, we'll just end up getting told to let everyone send whatever they want. I had someone the other day asking me why we had NTFS permissions, they believed everyone should just be allowed full access to every other department's data.
I was just wondering if there was any way to get around this by modifying the transport rule. If there isn't, I'm sure I can find another way.
