You can't invite Public Folders to a meeting, so nothing will show in message
tracking.
The only way that will work is to switch the view of the folder to category,
then add the column "Created". This will show you when the relevant appointment
was created.

If you are using Exchange 2007, the better option would be to switch to a room
mailbox. That will not allow conflicts if configured correctly.

Check the message tracking logs to see who got there first.

I've never used public folders for resource reservations, so I'm not sure how
you control double booking.

Hi all,

I'm a stumped on this one, we have a conference room on public folders that was
created a LONG TIME AGO on our retired 2003 excahnge server, ysterday someone
booked it from 3:30-5 pm, the problems is that there was already a booking
from 3-5pm, and of course both parties are stating that they booked it first.

How can i determine who booked it first, and WHY did allow it to happen?
