What you write sounds completely reasonable to me. That doesn't matter one iota. I repeat: The law doesn't have to make sense. Best example: A case where putting up a sign saying "$VENUE is not responsible for damaged property" was considered legally void because in the given jurisdiction, you could not disclaim liability, only limit it. If they had posted a policy of, "$VENUE is not responsible for more than one dollar of damaged property", that would have been acceptable. -- Ben
