And in a GUI... With frames that fade in and out... In bright summer
colors... And a talking puppy... Or a paperclip...

Well, of course. You are the admin, and you want the version information
displayed for YOU, don't you?

Okay, I see it now. Silly me, I thought the number after ExchangeVersion was
the Exchange Version, but it's actually the AdminDisplayVersion shows the
version of the Exchange version.

What Simon said.

The key is here: 14.0

SP1 is 14.1.

(The build info can tell you that too. But major.minor is easier, IMO.)

Subject: Question about Exchange 2010 version

We're migrating to Exchange 2010 and I'm checking the version number on the
server. When I run a powershell command  [PS] C:>Get-ExchangeServer | fl name,
*version* I get the following:

AdminDisplayVersion : Version 14.0 (Build 639.21)
ExchangeVersion : 0.1 (8.0.535.0)

This isn't listed here on Microsoft : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/158530
and I can't find it anywhere else.

We should be running Exchange 2010 Enterprise but want to know if we're running
SP1 or not.
