That works as long as the people sending to the DL address aren't going to be
confused if the get an OOF from the mailbox address.

Instead of additional mailboxes, you can setup a mail-enabled DL with the
secondary address (with user's mailbox as member), give the user Send-As rights
to that DL, and then select the DL in the From: box when sending.

Not without third-party software.

Exchange will always use your primary smtp address as the reply address if
you're using Outlook and an RPC connection to Exchange.

I've heard of people setting up additional mailboxes with the additional
address as the primary, giving the user Send As permission on that mailbox, and
setting it to forward all the email to the user's primary mailbox.

You can also send as a secondary address through POP.

Subject: Two Domain Names on Exchange

Does anyone know if you can have two Domain Names on Exchange and select from
Outlook which one to use?

Let me explain:

Company ABC.com has an Exchange server and everything is ok.

They recently created a new company DEF.com.

Both ABC.com and DEF.com is on the Exchange server.

Everyone has both user-<mailto:user-n...@abc.com>n...@abc.com and
user-n...@def.com<mailto:user-n...@def.com>.

Some users have ABC.com Domain name as there default reply address and some
have DEF.com as there default reply address.

The problem there are a handful of users that has to switch between ABC.Com and
DEF.com as there reply address and if someone sends an e-mail to them on there
DEF.Com Domain it will automatically use that as there reply address or the
other way as well. Does anyone know if this is doable and if so how?

Thanks in advance.
