I copied the first message in the folder into the pickup directory on another transport server, and it was immediately delivered. Heh, well if you read it on the internet, it must be true. :) It's worth a try, even if just to rule out the other messages. Failing that, a reboot is still something to check off when you can. Only today I was upgrading an RTM DAG to SP1 and noticed that one of the networks was being reported as partitioned, even though everything checked out and was working fine as far as the users were concerned. Eventually I rebooted the node and it came back clean. Just plain weird. I haven't created one from scratch, but I made a copy of one of theirs, looked it over (it seems OK), changed the address to send it to me, and dropped that in. Seems like I saw an article by some MS MVP about the pickup directory, that described creating a new message and dropping it in the folder when I was digging around for answers. I'll have to go find that back and try it :). Exchange 2007 hub/mailbox server. It's the last one I have left, to support an application that won't run on 2010. The application sends email by dropping them in the pickup folder. Suddenly the server just stopped processing the folder. The .eml files just sit there.
