We use the Biscom BDS VM appliance here http://www.biscomdeliveryserver.com/, at the time we were looking for a solution like this we researched Acellion, Biscom and a couple of other's overall Biscom came on Top, it integrates with outlook, it's a simple to use HTTPS site on the outside , minimal registration and the licensing was less expensive by far than the others.
We also do a lot of automation and the appliance has some easy scripts/agents to setup for sending and receiving files in an automated manner, Policy is setup so when a file is X size it's automatically routed through the appliance and it skips exchange.
