By default databases have a threshold of 30GBs for recoverable items (aka dumpster) so you might want to keep that in mind for your formula.
Also consider any SLAs in regards to restore and similar stuff that might put some pressure on you and your availability metrics. What's the connection between the DAG members? What OLA you got there?
