You know, I've thought about doing (in my voluminous free time) an open-source 
implementation of EAS.... It's not trivial, but it isn't that complicated, 
either.

Let's not confuse Exchange Server ActiveSync vs. an ActiveSync implementation.

Apple, various Android OEMs, Touchdown, etc. - all of these are ActiveSync 
licensees. Which parts of the spec they choose to implement are completely up 
to them.

Exchange Server ActiveSync supports it.

Doing some reading, trying to verify for sure that Exchange 2010 (sp1 or sp2) 
does not support syncing of tasks/notes over the activesync protocol to droid..

Maybe using touchdown or another app ...
