Symantec Enterprise Vault is the market leader, CommVault is also very popular, 
I don't personally have any experience with others like GFI's though.

Whilst not Archiving, read-only or rather immutable facilities can be achieved 
in Exchange. It's not as good as the dedicated compliance archiving solutions 
though. There's a white paper here
