I've looked in several online manuals and can't seem to find an authoritative answer to this question:
Can SharePoint directly accept mail, either through direct SMTP input or via some other means? The end game of the question is this, I have a bunch of shared mailboxes in Exchange, along with their attendant user accounts. I'm looking to see if it is feasible to move these mailboxes into a SharePoint installation and have the same functionality as a shared mailbox, without the security risk of an additional user level account.
