Looks like we're somehow not operating in the "home" directory for the user
of this delivery. Noting the "virtual" part of the router name - is this
a real (ie. defined in etc/passwd) user? If not, what settings do this
router and transport have regarding directories to use?
Thinking further - the "Read-only file system" error might also be pointing
in the direction of some restriction placed on the daemon environment at it's
startup - eg. by systemd, as Chris Siebenmann noted.
That would be consistent with it working when you run a delivery manually.
