I just opened an account through my school, MMA. They required an official
translation of my passport (American passport into Russian). I got it for
450 rubles at a place right beside the metro exit at Chistiy
Prudi/Turgenevskaya (there are 2 exits), telephone 746-9064. It takes 1
working day. They don't keep your passport.
