There are several issues here. Any HIV testing not involving the drawing of blood via a needle, such as a saliva test, is considered a ‘rapid test’. As far as I understand, rapid tests are not valid for the purposes of a visa application under Russian visa law. If the test is done in NYC, however, I understand it may be possible to have a rapid test and request that the testing method not be explicitly described in the supporting documents, which can then be submitted for a visa at the consulate there. I’m not aware of providers here in Moscow that would do the same.

Hi, does anyone know of a place in Moscow that does HIV testing via ear swabs (or any other method not involving the needle) and whose results would be accepted by the Russian consulate in NYC for visa purposes? Thanks, Alex ____________________________________________________________________________________ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
