Hi

I tried to take a small amateur copy of a painting out of the country
some time ago, and was stopped in doing so. Apparently I needed a
passport for the item. I would think that this sword would fall into
this category. The is a place in the Old Arbat where you can have the
item examined and appraised as it its cultural value. I do not know
the exact address, however you could ring Domoodedovo Airport at
88002003366, and they may be able to tell you.

Regards
