He will not have any problem transporting it back home providing he has the
proper documents.  It must be packaged separately and properly and contain a
customs inspector seal.  Not to cause any delays when he leaves, might I
suggest that he look after this prior to departure. A simple trip to customs
control with the object in hand will alleviate any problems
