Hi All,

Quality of art there in the streets is pretty bad, if you look for something
real piece of art try to locate art galleries or contact artists directly.
House of Artists opposite Gorky Park - the ugly grey box building - may be
one of the places to go, there are galleries inside. I also have one artist
a friend of mine and well known in Europe who has just come back to Moscow,
can give you her contact if you are really interested.

Sincerely,

There are lots of places but if you are looking for an alternative to Stary
Arbat the art market on the river bank by Krimskaya Nab (opposite Gorkij
Park) or Izmailova ("level 2") should have things of interest for you.

Good luck!/Marika

Hello Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone can help out where I can buy some paintings in
Moscow. Am a bit tired of walking and looking at things on Stari Artbat.
Would appreciate any input and advice. Thanks in advance!
Mike
